CREATIVE PLAY, CLEAR STATUS

For Parents

Beat Critters aims to make arranging music approachable. This page separates what works in the prototype from account and community features planned for later.

What players do

Players choose illustrated performers and place up to seven on a stage. Each character represents a musical loop, turning arrangement concepts such as rhythm, melody, layering, balance, and space into direct visual actions.

Current prototype boundaries

The project is in prototype development. Public accounts, comments, publishing, messaging, competitions, purchases, and video export are not described as active services. Prototype audio is not cleared for public commercial release and must be replaced before launch.

Planned safety work

Before community features open, the product needs age-appropriate defaults, reporting and moderation tools, understandable privacy choices, limits on public profile data, transparent data retention, and a documented response process. Those protections are requirements, not decorative labels.

Device and sensory considerations

The responsive design supports phones through desktop displays. Performance mode removes editing controls for a cleaner presentation. Lighting motion should offer intensity controls and respect reduced-motion preferences as development continues.

Questions and updates

Development updates will be posted on the news page. The privacy notice explains the current static-site state and will be revised before accounts collect personal data.
